The Podcast Exchange is pleased to officially welcome Lina Kim aboard as the company's new President. Lina's appointment is one of several initiatives TPX has taken to further elevate its position as the leader in Canadian podcast advertising.

Lina takes the reins from retiring CEO Jean-Marie Heimrath, who co-founded TPX with Jeff Ulster in 2018. Citing Lina’s excellent track record in the industry, Jean-Marie says Lina (formerly Managing Director at Havas Media Group) is the perfect candidate to lead TPX, having served in senior leadership capacities in both the advertising and digital space.

Lina will be developing new areas of business for TPX, accelerating the growth of the company by providing clients with enhanced data, an expanded sales team and new opportunities for direct and programmatic buying. She'll also continue to grow the company's branded podcast production and consulting division, TPX Studios.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time in the podcast space for both brands and content creators”, says Lina. “The emergence of this highly engaging audio channel generates tremendous opportunities for advertisers to target a well-educated, diverse and affluent consumer where they are looking for meaningful content.”

EXPANDED TEAM, NEW INVENTORY

The Podcast Exchange also welcomes the addition of Greg Ennis to the team as National Account Executive. From agency planning and strategy to large scale sponsorship account management and sales, Greg brings an eclectic array of industry experience, most recently with Rogers Sports & Media.

TPX's publisher relationships continue to expand, with new offerings from CBC, Kast Media, the NHL, Minute Media and more. Representing more than 100 million monthly impressions in Canada (English and French), TPX works with premium domestic and international podcast publishers to reach millions of podcast listeners country-wide. Whether brands seek customized host reads or pre-produced ads, TPX helps clients target specific podcasts, group podcasts by category or focus on audience-based buying - whatever strategy best meets the needs of the advertiser.

TPX Studios continues to grow as well, serving clients as diverse as The Atlantic, the Canadian Army, Cineplex and Cogeco Media.

At TPX, we're very excited about the role we continue to play in helping the Canadian podcast industry grow. Stay tuned for more announcements as the year unfolds - it's an exciting time to be in podcasting!
